Pre-Sale Car Preparation Service

If you are looking to sell your car privately, you may have already experienced tyre-kickers and hagglers, who seem intent on bringing the deal down to 50% of the advertised price. Not only is this annoying and time-wasting; it invariably means that you can end up settling for far less than you'd hoped. You'll never get a second chance to make a first impression. If you want to sell your car quickly and easily for a good price, you have to help customers to buy the car, by making the vehicle so irresistible compared to cars of a similar age, that they hand over the cash there and then, without promising to 'think about it'. Most people will judge whether a car had the potential to be 'the one' in under ten seconds. Does your car compel would-be-buyers to part with their money?
WHY INVEST IN A PRE-SALE SERVICE?

This 2009 BMW was in good condition following regular valets; however the paintwork was tired and dull. The trend for new white cars means that we have seen many being referred to us for work. This is because white cars seem more prone to dullness through lack of protection, which can greatly affect the value when it comes to trading the car in. When the car has been valeted, brushes and dirt contained within well-used cloths scratch at the paintwork, causing swirl marks. These are what cause your paintwork to look so lacklustre.
As you can see, we were able to help the owner of this car re-sell the vehicle with fewer scratches and swirl marks. The showroom shine was more than superficial - the paintwork has been restored with a thorough clay barring and single-stage machine polish before waxing and dressing. The alloys were waxed, polished and dressed. All of the lights were re-vamped using a buffer, making this super car a real head turner. What a great result!
A QUICK NOTE...
Please note that we can put packages together for any private customer, depending on your and your vehicle's needs. If you want the best value for money, we recommend that you wash and dry the car yourself, so that we can focus on the specialised work required, rather than billing you to wash the car. Similarly, we do not include an interior valet, as a superficial clean to the inside of the car can be achieved fairly inexpensively at a local valeters. If, however, you want a full service, with an interior detail, snow foam/two-bucket wash, engine or cabriolet roof detailing, we will be only too happy to add in services based on an hourly rate. Please contact us for details or look at our Detailing Services page for more information. The process outlined below is the basic Pre-Sale Preparation Service, which therefore excludes washing and interior cleaning services.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE?

For a standard four door family car (not SUV's/4x4's), we estimate the full service will take approximately three to four hours to complete. Whatever your budget, we will be sure to tailor a package to suit your needs. A standard pre-sale preparation service will comprise the minimum of the steps outlined above, for approximately £120. As stated above; this is dependant upon you washing and drying the car prior to our arrival and does not include an interior detail.
If you wish to add to the package and incorporate extra services, we will be only too happy to negotiate with you. Please look at our Detailing Services page to see the more specialised, bespoke detailing services we offer.
