This is today's job - a full restoration and and colour change of these stylish 5-spoke Seat Cupra alloys. As you can see, the initial wheels were scuffed and scraped, requiring sanding, filling and restoration. After the damage was repaired, the area was prepped and the new colour - a high gloss black, was sprayed all over the wheels, before each wheel was lacquered and cured under heat. The result takes this car from an ordinary coupe to a real headturner - in under six hours for just £200.

This set of BMW alloys were scuffed and scratched, no doubt from the inevitable kerbing which most front nearside wheels tend to incur. Fortunately, a colour match, some sanding, filling, painting and lacquring later, and this gleaming wheel looks as good as new. If you are interested in changing the colour of your wheels - say, from silver to black, or even adding some metallic into the paintwork, we can easily update the look and condition of your alloys quickly and easily. Alloys in good condition will take around four hours for a full set; however, it will take longer if there is repair work to be done. This service can be carried out outside your home or place of work. Please get in touch with Craig using the contact form at the top of the page. Here is today's alloy wheel refurbishment, completed in Manchester. As you can see, the wheel has kerbing chunks all down one side of the wheel, where the car hit a pavement at 20mph. I have thoroughly cleaned the wheel down to identify the extent of the damage, before gradually sanding down the area. Large chunks were filled using a high quality wheel filler, before the whole wheel was lightly flatted to create an even surface. The wheel was painted, lacquered and cured under heat lamps before being refitted to the car. The hire company will never know... |
